My interest in becoming a Phoenix Chiropractor was created by my mother who had experienced migraine headaches ever since she was in a head on car accident in her 20’s. When I injured my back as a teenager she took me to her Chiropractor and after only a few visits; my low back pain was gone. I was impressed with how much the Chiropractor enjoyed his profession. He would always tell me that he doesn’t work for a living. He loved his profession and never considered it a chore. That’s the point in my life when I knew I wanted to become a Chiropractor.

Once I finished high school, I attended Arizona State University in Tempe Arizona studying to be a Phoenix Chiropractor. I graduated there with a B.S. degree in Psychology. Soon, I moved on to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.

While in Chiropractic College, Drew, my classmate, would talk about the Palmer/Blair technique and how it changed his life. When Drew was in high school he had a neck injury. Drew and a friend were wrestling around and he accidentally got his head slammed into the ground. Shortly after that he began having headaches, neck pain and numbness in his arms and hands. Along with these symptoms came other neurological problems to the point where he could hardly function. For the next two years he went to every neurologist in the area, no one could help him. Finally, a family friend suggested that he go to a Chiropractor that dealt with the upper neck area. After Drew’s first visit and adjustment he felt 80% better. Within three weeks Drew was back to normal. This too was the turning point in his life when he decided to become a Chiropractic Doctor.

While Drew and I were studying in the Chiropractic Clinic, I truly did not understand the magnitude of the Blair /Palmer technique or what Drew was trying to explain to me for so long. It wasn’t until we started treating patients and I was practicing the traditional twist and crack technique of Chiropractic that it suddenly dawned on me, the Palmer/Blair adjustment was truly changing lives. Drew was practicing the Palmer/Blair technique which required the least amount of adjustments, and it was obvious that after a few weeks, his patients were getting much better than everyone else’s patients. His patients were actually holding their adjustments for a longer period of time. With that revelation, I too began practicing the Palmer/Blair technique of Chiropractic. All the other techniques offer only temporary relief and just can’t compare to this technique.

The Palmer/Blair technique has not only changed the lives of my patients, but mine as well. As a child I had severe asthma, which has since disappeared due to my Blair adjustments. I think the most significant difference the Blair work has played in my life is that I get sick less often and if I ever do come down with something it doesn’t last very long and the symptoms are less severe. Palmer/Blair adjustments, there are no substitutes. Doctor Drew Hall a colleague, friend and now President of the Blair Society. I must thank him for sharing with me the power of the Blair technique.
